How often should you have the procedure?
It is recommended that individuals undergo treatment two to four times per year for optimal results. If correction is needed, an initial series of 3-4 treatments, 1 month a part may be recommended.
What is the procedure like?
It takes about 30 minutes for a face treatment. Each additional area will take about 15 minutes. Numbing cream is not needed, and it feels like little flicks on your face. Before starting the procedure, we will protect your eyes from the bright light with googles, or eye shields. We will then apply a cooling gel to your face and start the procedure. The tip of the laser is a crystal and has cooling properties, which helps with any discomfort you may have. Several passes will be required to target different concerns.
What is the downtime?
There is almost no down time with this procedure. Sunscreen should be worn to protect you skin while it is healing. You might be slightly pink when leaving the office. The brown spots treated will appear darker for 3 to 7 days until they lighten up.
Who performs the procedure?
We only use experienced, qualified providers to perform our treatments, so you can be absolutely sure of a highly professional, discreet and safe service. Our registered nurse performs the treatment. Her certifications, experience, and knowledge will ensure you receive a safe and effective treatment.
